Do You Know Great Power's Disease?

All the countries and people are mesmerized by the enormous sizes and fastest speed of Chinese economic achievements. The secret of the magnificent growth considerably lies in the huge sizes, which make grow other companies and industries consecutively, and moreover one another. As a result, the Chinese economy is building colossal skyscrapers, gigantic cranes-lined docks, immense manufacturing districts, etc. Historically, such the Chinese advance velocity and volumes seems unimaginably massive more than the ones of the emerging U.S.A economy in the early 20th century.

However, there is an important difference between today’s China and the rising U.S.A of the early 20th century. The new U.S.A had the Puritan morality more than the old Europe, while China does not have such a moral excellence that the other countries give respect to.

Such Chinese economic growth gives fears to neighboring countries, because they are increasing military power and generate territorial conflicts overtly.

Chinese threatening power is putting the neighboring countries in the situation strengthening military relationship with the U.S.A.

In fact, ‘greatness’ itself could be a poison to them owning it. ‘Greatness’ means ‘above appropriateness’, therefore, it leads to unnecessary costs. The weakening of the U.S.A. is nothing but the accumulation of unnecessary costs such as a series of wars and maintenance of great power.

Physically ‘greatness’ means the distancing of networks and focusing on the central point, therefore as it goes on and on, its inefficiency and ineffectiveness loom up gradually.

So, I give advice to you the next: Slow down the speed, and enjoy the power slowly, getting well along with neighbors.
In Europe, the three big powers of Great Britain, France, and Germany experienced the two World Wars, being in search of the forever empirism. The U.S.A and Russia also have had little peace even after the Second World War.

'Greatness’, ‘Racism’, ‘Nationalism’ and ‘Patriotism’ only require huge blood and sacrifices in exchange of ephemeral self-respect.

In the 21st century, we must discard the win-or-lose mindset inherited from the 20th century. Let us all live together and solve the climatic catastrophe. A small island like a palm is really important to fight for each other? Pumping up oil in the sea contributes to its grass rooters’ well-being? If so, Russian people must have been the richest in the world. Natural resources should form a very few oligarchs, regardless of the general people.

Our global citizens must drive out the bad politicians, irresponsible instigators, and wicked ideologues. (The end)
