God Has A Plan for My Life

The first day of this new year I received a few graceful, inspiring words, which are desperately needed at these difficult time of mine.

From the tragedy came lessons that I could not have learned in any other way. The first lesson that I learned was that God is in control. Nothing happens without his permission. The second lesson that I discovered is that God has a plan for my life. It is a personl plan that is intended just for me. The third thing that I realized was that God will not put more "on" me than he will put "in" me to go through the challenge. He is a heavenly Father who loves us and will not leave us alone when we go through trials and tribulations...this I know, if you turn to God for help during the crisis...he will be there for you and He will be there with you.

Dear God, thank you for sending trials my way. I know that you love me and that you have a plan and a purpose for my life. I also know that you have a purpose for the trials that I have gone through and the trials that I will face in the future. Give me not only the grace I need to go through the challenge, but also the grace to realize the lessons that you want me to learn. I Jesus' name, amen.
(One Great Truth, Jonathan Falwell,14-15)

I again realized God's love and plan for me much stronger than some conventional words of wisdom and consolation.

The Thought that Layoff is a Fresh Starter

The America’s companies mostly begin their changes by layoff when they are in a crisis. I thought that it is too cruel towards employees. But today I suddenly knew that ‘layoff’ could be a strong tool for the first step of innovation and changes.

Seeing the American economy is recovering recently, ‘layoff’ might be a real competitive edge of the American economy. What could make people change to the bone after the adulthood except layoff? Is it layoff, isn’t it?

For example, one long-reputed but now high-browed and laggard company, anyone can easily predict, would be self-exterminated in humiliation.

We Asians do not need to perceive that ‘layoff’ is an immoral thing. In Korea, it is seldom reported that fired employees fired themselves. It is because they thought their company their life itself. In other words they see the company in the sight of morality and empathy.

Good parents hold ‘love’ stick, but bad ones do not and then ruin their children. Korean employees should replace their working places if the employers do not respect them. I believe that the thought ‘Layoff is an opportunity’ can make us change.//
