Men's Ramen and Women's Ramen

GS25, one of the largest retail-store chains (over 2000 stores) in Korea, began to sell smart two kinds of ramen (instant noodles orginated from a Japanese food inventor), men’s ramen named “Budagigae” and women’s ramen named “Raboki” this month.

These ramens were inspired by the fact that male’s and female’s tastes are each different. According to GS25’s analyses, 68.6% of men preferred ramen with hot-flavored watery soup, while 67.4% of women preferred ramen with light-flavored little liquid.

The research also found out that coffee-consuming are distinct by sex. Male liked cheap coffee and strong flavor, on the contrary female liked mild coffee products containing more milk. GS25 showed 8 kinds of men’s coffee and women’s coffee products this month in the market. (The end)
